Assessment Guide
A STEP-BY-STEP ASSESSMENT GUIDE
Assessing your requirements
It is fundamental to the service that we offer that we do everything possible to find the most appropriate chair for your requirements, and provide you with the training and information necessary for you to gain the optimum health and productivity benefits from your work chair. In our process of assessment, and in any advice we offer, we will take into account any recommendations that have already been received from a health specialist. We can help in a variety of different ways, subject to what is most practical and convenient to meet your requirements. The procedure is as follows:
Step 1a: Showroom Visits
Anappointment can be arranged to see an advisor at our showroom, Here we can show you a wide choice of chair models available, discuss which will best suit your requirements, and allow full evaluation of all models that would potentially offer the solution. We would then recommend the model that the user has found to be most appropriate for their needs.
Step 1b: Telephone Questionnaire
If the user is unable to visit our showroom we can arrange for a telephone consultation with a member of our assessment team, who will run through a questionnaire with the user to help us to determine their precise needs, leading us to the selection of an appropriate chair. Our consultation will focus on questions about the user's health needs, their physical size and the work tasks they perform.
Step 2: Quotation
Itis normally advisable for us to provide a quotation, detailing the model and price of the appropriate chair, to the person nominated for ordering. The quotation is normally sent by fax or e-mail, and if there are any queries at this stage we will be pleased to discuss our recommendation with them. If all parties are reasonably confident that our recommendation is appropriate then move to Step4.
If there are still unresolved queries, arrangements can be made for a further showroom visit, a loan of a demonstration chair, or a visit to a ‘chair assessment clinic'.
Step 3a: Loan of Demonstration Chair
If we are uncertain which model of chair will be most appropriate to the user's requirements, or if there are unresolved queries, we can arrange for one of our advisors will deliver a demonstration model and leave it with the user for 3 to 4 days to assist their decision. This option isn't normally necessary as our recommendations have proved to be very accurate as long as we have obtained a full consultation during Step1.
Step 3b: Chair Assessment Clinic
This option has been used successfully in situations where a number of people fromthe same site require chairs. We can then arrange to bring a number of our chairs to the site and hold a clinic to as certain the needs of each user. Depending on the requirement, we can either see each person separately or give a group presentation with some time spent later with each individual.
Once these extra options have provided the information we need, a quotation will be provided as per Step 2.
Step 4: Delivery, Assembly and User Training.
Once we've received your order, we will arrange for it to be delivered to the user‘ and ensure that their health needs are fully satisfied. The chair will be assembled and set up correctly for the user, and training will be given by a member of our team to ensure that the optimum health and productivity benefits are achieved. We have found that instruction on how to adjust the chair is only of limited benefit, so we instruct on how and why to adjust, relating each feature to the user's health needs, task or size.
