Assessment Guide

A STEP-BY-STEP ASSESSMENT GUIDE

Assessing your requirements

It is fundamental to the service that we offer that we do everything possible to find the most appropriate products for your requirements, and provide you with the information necessary for you to gain the optimum health and productivity benefits from those products. In our process of assessment, and in any advice we offer, we will take into account any recommendations that have already been received from a health specialist. We can help in a variety of different ways, subject to what is most practical and convenient to meet your requirements. The basic procedure is as follows:

Evaluation of existing workplace/workstation – ideally we like to visit your workplace to see the type of desk and layout that you are currently using, at this time we can also gather information about the equipment that you use, (this can also be done via e-mail with some decent images).

Step 1a: Showroom Visits

An appointment can be arranged to see an advisor at our showroom. Here we can show you a wide choice of products discuss which will best suit your requirements, and allow full evaluation of any items to enable us to identify products which would assist the individual and be most appropriate for their needs.

Step 1b: Telephone Questionnaire

If you are unable to visit our showroom we can arrange for a telephone consultation, we will run through a questionnaire to help us to determine your precise needs, leading us to the selection of any appropriate items. This consultation will focus on questions about the user's health needs, their physical size and the work tasks they perform.

Step 2: Quotation

It is normally advisable for us to provide a quotation, detailing the models and prices of the appropriate items. If there are any queries at this stage we will be pleased to discuss our recommendations. If all parties are reasonably confident that our recommendation is appropriate then move to Step 4.

If thereare still unresolved queries, arrangements can be made for a further showroom visit, or a loan of a demonstration product.

Step 3a: Loan of Demonstration Product.

This applies mainly to our seating products, if we are uncertain which model of chair will be most appropriate to the user's requirements, or if there are unresolved queries, we can arrange to deliver a demonstration model and leave it with the user for 3 to 4 days to assist their decision. This option isn't normally necessary as our recommendations have proved to be very accurate as long as we have obtained a full consultation during Step 1.

Step 4: Delivery, Assembly and User Training.

Once we've received your order, we will arrange for it to be delivered to the user. The chair will be assembled and set up correctly for the user, and training will be given to ensure that the optimum health and productivity benefits are achieved. We have found that instruction on how to adjust the chair is only of limited benefit, so we instruct on how and why to adjust, relating each feature to the user's health needs.
