Laptops……. a very clever tool which has enabled us to work in a far more flexible way that ever before, however the basic design of the laptop results in a number of potential health risks – forward tilting of the head and hunching of the shoulders all result in added stress on the upper back, shoulders and neck. If you are going to be working on your laptop for more than 30 minutes at a time then buy or borrow a separate keyboard, mouse (preferably upright) and ideally a laptop stand. You can pick up separate keyboards and mice with minimal outlay and you can decide whether to invest in a laptop stand or use books, magazines or blocks of wood to raise your laptop.

Make your working environment a more comfortable and productive place to be.
