Going from a static chair to one that offers movement is a big change and ordering a chair without testing it or understanding the benefits and adjustments can be an expensive error, so we have come up with a plan to help you decide.

The best way to test an ergonomic chair is to simply sit in one. Book an appointment to come to the showroom to try all 3 chairs and decide which one suits you best, take it home or to the office. After 14 days return it to us and let us know how you got on. This trial option will give in you the chance to make an informed decision whether looking to replace 1 or 100 chairs and hopefully stop any costly mistakes again.

After you e-mail some photos to us of you and your working environment, along with some measurements, we will then spend some time with you in a telephone consultation discussing details of your work needs and working style. When you visit our showroom, you can try out our full range of products. We will require as much information as possible about your working environment, features of which we will then re-create in the showroom. We initially focus on obvious risk areas with regard to layout and equipment, and then look more specifically at identifying the right seating for you, with any further recommendations via e-mail (free of charge, donation to Oakleaf Enterprise – My Donate page – see below);
This is a full HSE covering all aspects of Display Screen, Keyboard, Mouse/ Trackball, Software, Furniture, and Environment. We look at areas of risk, and possible solutions, followed up by full documentation for you to keep The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 apply to workers who use DSE daily, for an hour or more at a time (chargeable – Please give us a call to discuss);
We offer group training session which can be held at lunch time or after work for all your members of staff. We will show the most common pitfalls of how people generally work that leads to discomfort, what can be changed immediately, demonstrate existing furniture and give staff an understanding of how to try and avoid problems.
