  • Mental Health problems account for the loss of 91 Million working days
  • 1 in 6 workers are dealing with a mental health problem

Depression, anxiety, stress, and OCD to schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and panic disorder…the list goes on.

Employers can help staff manage their mental health in the workplace for example by ensuring regular breaks, introducing leisure activities and thanking the staff.

We work to reduce the stigma attached to mental health issues and we encourage people to talk about their own mental health, share their stories and talk openly about their experiences.

Oakleaf is a mental health charity and social enterprise serving the Guildford area for over 20 years. We offer vocational training in upholstery, ICT and horticulture along with a huge range of social inclusion activities, advice, support and one-to-one counseling sessions for each client. At Oakleaf, clients gain new skills and hands on work experience but also increase their confidence levels, meet new people and improve their general health and well-being.
